Why Work Here

WIL-Surge Electric is a family-owned, third-generation contractor based in Butler, hiring electricians and skilled tradespeople across Wisconsin, including journeyman electrician jobs in the Milwaukee area. Our in-house crews self-perform electrical, mechanical, and civil work instead of handing it to subcontractors, so the work stays with our people.

Real, varied work

Self-performing 17 trades means you won't do the same day twice, stadiums one month, a substation the next.

We grow our own

Structured apprenticeship and paid training take you from helper to journeyman to leader.

Family-owned since 1993

You're a name here, not a badge number. Decisions are made by people you actually know.
